Game of Thrones Metallic Night King Funko Pops

Recently announced Deluxe figure is hard to come by

With the last season of Game of Thrones premiering in just over a week, Funko has been sure to join the debate of who will claim the Iron Throne. They announced a whole new series of Pop! Rides, Rock Candy, 5 Star and Pop! Keychains to mark the ultimate battle for supremacy at London Toy Fair in January. But most notably, there were five Pop! Deluxe, featuring Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, Night King and Tyrion Lannister on the Iron Throne.

In the weeks before the premiere, there have been two more exciting announcements. Funatics have been known to like shiny variants of their favourite characters, so Funko announced an AT&T exclusive metallic Night King Pop! as well as an HBO exclusive metallic Night King on Throne Pop! Deluxe. The former is expected to drop in the next couple of weeks, while the deluxe figure was made available on the HBO Shop on April 4th – with mixed results.

CAST, or the Cinema Appreciation Society of Toronto, is one of those more obscure collectives comprised of local film critics, bloggers, podcasters and film enthusiasts who share a passion for movies in all their glory — and sometimes revulsion.

The beginnings of relationships, particularly as one gets older, can be difficult. People begin to feel like there’s less time to find “the one” and that most of the good fish have already been plucked out of the sea. Spending any extended period of time with someone quickly leads to, “can I see myself spending the rest of my life with this person?” However, even if one person answers in the affirmative, there’s no guarantee the other person will too. Unfortunately, sometimes fear makes people say things they don’t really mean… and there isn’t always an opportunity to take it back. All of these play out in The Big Sick trailer.

The remake of Stephen King’s It hit a significant roadblock in 2015 when writer/director Cary Fukunaga left the project due to differences regarding the film’s vision and budget. His departure delivered a major blow to those intrigued by his take on the story about a tightknit group of friends who take on an alien devourer as children — and then adults — in their small New England town. But New Line was determined to move ahead with the production. A couple of months later, they tapped director Andrés Muschietti, who made waves with his horror feature Mama, to take over the two-part film adaptation. This announcement was followed by the casting of Bill Skarsgård in the title role, a.k.a. Pennywise, which was originally played by Tim Curry. Recently, a series of disturbing photos featuring the otherworldly, evil clown were released. And now finally, the first trailer has arrived.
